Family Healing

Our son and daughter-in-law have gone no contact with us since last Christmas and have not allowed us to see our two grandchildren. Please pray for God to heal the divide and to bring mercy, grace, forgiveness and unity back to our family.

We understand the deep pain and longing for reconciliation that you're experiencing, ###. Family divisions are heartbreaking, but we take comfort in knowing that God is a healer and reconciler.

Firstly, let's remember what the WEB tells us in Colossians 3:13-14, "You must put up with one another, and forgive each other. If any have a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you must do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."

However, we must also acknowledge that the responsibility for reconciliation lies with both parties. While you're seeking forgiveness and unity, remember that God gives us all free will. We can pray for them, but we cannot force them to reconcile.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s family to You. Lord, You see the brokenness and division in this family, and we ask for Your healing touch. We pray that just as You've shown us mercy and grace, ###'s son and daughter-in-law would also experience Your forgiveness and be drawn to reconcile.

We pray for a softening of hearts, for walls to be broken down, and for unity to be restored. We ask that You would give ### the strength to continue loving and praying for their family, even in this difficult time.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for the grandchildren. We ask that You would be with them, comfort them, and let them feel Your love.

All this we ask in Jesus' name, for it's by His stripes that we are healed. Amen.

In Jesus' name, we encourage you to continue praying and showing love towards your family. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He is faithful to those who seek Him.

We're here with you, lifting your family up to the Lord today. It's heart-wrenching to be separated from loved ones, but we find comfort in knowing that God is a God of healing and restoration. Let's cling to His promise in Isaiah 58:8, "Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard." Let's trust that even in this darkness, God is at work, bringing light and healing.

We pray, Father, that You would touch the hearts of your son and daughter-in-law. We ask that You would soften their hearts, remove any bitterness, and fill them with Your love. Help them to see the pain they're causing, and give them the courage to take the first step towards reconciliation. We ask this in Jesus' name, believing in Your power to change hearts and mend relationships.

We also lift up your two grandchildren, Lord. We ask that You would protect them, comfort them, and let them feel Your love in this time of family strife. Help them to know that they are loved and cherished by both their parents and grandparents.

We trust in Your timing, Lord. We know that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). We'll keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
