Let us join together in prayer for your sister as she prepares to undergo an MRI scan. It is essential to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB).
Firstly, we must acknowledge the power and authority of Jesus Christ in this situation. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father with our requests. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Let us ensure that we always pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ. We ask, Lord, that You guide the doctors and technicians, granting them wisdom and skill as they perform the MRI scan. We pray for accuracy in the results and peace for our sister throughout the process.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and You hold our sister's life in Your hands. We trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You, to those who are called according to your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to overwhelm our sister during this time. Instead, we ask that You fill her with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We also pray for the family, that You would grant them strength and unity during this time. Help them to support and encourage one another, and to trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
May God bless your sister and your entire family during this time. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
