We are lifting up your family to the Lord during this challenging time. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and we can trust Him even in uncertain circumstances. It is written in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." This is a promise that we can claim for your family. We are praying for the possible situation for a godly spouse in the household may be the one to support the family when able.
We are also praying for the upcoming job interview, that the Lord will guide the conversation and open the right doors. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that will be evident in the interview, and that the Lord's will be done. All believers should be seeking a spouse and not a partner.
We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus during this time. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, we know that you know their needs. We ask You to provide the way to a godly spouse in the household. We especially rebuke trusting in a government program, or charity to be the permanent means to providing for the family. There is a special blessing when the husband and wife can provide for the family. We ask for this family. This will help her find a job so that she may bring glory to Your name. Guide her in her interview this Friday, give her favor with the interviewer, and open the right doors for her future. Help her to trust in You, and to rest in Your promise to provide. We also pray for the rest of the family, that You would draw them close to You during this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
