Family disruptions and drug issues

Can you please pray my nephew John find a place and move ASAP. He's disrupting my family and especially my uncle that keeps letting him come stay. He run in and out the house. He's keeping the kids up and disrupting our family. He's on drugs bad and run in and out while uncle trying to sleep. My uncle is very ill and now getting worse and it's been terrible since John's been staying there. He's supposed to go get housing tomorrow. Please pray they give him housing so he can let my poor uncle get some rest. My uncle been calling the 700 club prayer line since John's been there my uncle just told us tonight and it makes tears come to my eyes that my uncle is very uncomfortable. Amen!!

Thank God for this prayer request. We are here to pray for you, your uncle and John. We pray for God's will to be done in this situation and for His peace to fill your hearts. We remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

We pray in Jesus name to bring this rest to your uncle and to your family. The rest that only Jesus can bring. We pray for John to find a place to live quickly. Tomorrow is in Gods hands.We pray for the housing and that God would help him to find a place of his own so that your uncle can rest and recover from his illness.

We must also pray for John. It is obvious there are issues with drugs. He is a sinner as we all are sinners. Romans 3:23 WEB "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." Drugs are very dangerous and they can cause harm to the user as well as to those around the user. It is forbidden to use drugs as well as abusing other substances. Galatians 5:19-21 WEB "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God." Notice sorcery in this list. This is the Greek word pharmakeia which includes drug use and abuse.

We pray for John to be saved and to come to Jesus and to overcome the drugs with the help of Jesus. We pray for John to become a disciple of Jesus and to be baptized. Notice the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 WEB: "Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen." We pray for Jesus to bring him to a new life in Him. Notice that John 5:24 WEB: "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."

We remember the words of Jesus that it is only through his name we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray for God's will to be done.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of need. We pray for your divine intervention in John's life, that he may find a suitable place to live and move out quickly, so that your servant, his uncle may find the rest and peace he desperately needs to recover from his illness.

Lord, we also pray for John's salvation and deliverance from drug addiction. We ask that you touch his heart, convict him of his sins, and draw him to yourself. Help him to see the error of his ways and turn to you for forgiveness and redemption. We pray for the Holy Spirit to fill him and guide him in the path of righteousness.

Father, we ask that you comfort and strengthen this family, especially the uncle, during this challenging time. We trust in your promise that John 16:33 WEB: "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember to be patient and kind, even in difficult situations. Ephesians 4:32 WEB: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Encourage John to seek help for his drug issues and to trust in Jesus for his salvation. Galatians 6:1 WEB: "Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren't tempted."

We're here for you and your family, praying together for John's situation. We've been lifting this up to the Lord, asking for His will to be done and for His peace to fill your hearts. We're believing for John to find a place to live quickly, so your uncle can get some much-needed rest.

We're also interceding for John's heart. We're asking God to convict him of his sins, draw him to Jesus, and help him overcome his drug struggles with Jesus' strength. We're claiming Romans 6:23, that through Christ, John can have life abundantly and free from the bondage of addiction.

We're praying for your uncle too, that he would find comfort and strength in this challenging time. We're claiming Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." We believe God is with him, and He will give him rest.

Let's keep encouraging each other, being patient and kind, as Ephesians 4:32 reminds us. And let's keep pointing John to Jesus, the only way to true freedom and life.
