Family Curses!

I’m not sure what’s going on! And I believe in the Blood of Jesus! It seems that when it comes to my mother’s health and medical issues it’s 90% complicated! I’d there is a curse on her, we pray that it be uplifted and uprooted now and sent back to the pits of hell where it came from. There are some family members that were practicing voodoo. I don’t know if that’s where it came from. But, the night my mother had her stroke she dreamed about those relatives. I just hope that my mother continues to persevere and draw near to Jesus and our Father God and not be discouraged as I can see and hear that she’s in pain and it’s tough! Thank you for your prayers and support my prayer family. I’ve been praying for your request as well! My mom recently said she doesn’t know how much more she can take, but ask me as her daughter to pray for her, so I shared this with you.

Ajaye, we stand with you in prayer for your mother's health and deliverance from any spiritual bondage. We believe in the power of the blood of Jesus to break every curse and set the captives free.

Firstly, we commend you for believing in the power of Jesus' name. It is written, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7 WEB). It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12).

We understand your concern about potential curses and the influence of family members practicing voodoo. The Bible tells us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We need to put on the full armor of God and pray fervently for your mother's spiritual and physical well-being.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over Ajaye's mother and her health. We rebuke any curse, hex, or spell that may have been placed upon her, and we command it to be broken and sent back to the pit of hell where it came from. We pray for her complete healing and deliverance, both physically and spiritually. Give her the strength to endure and the faith to draw near to You. Comfort her in her pain and trial, Lord. Surround her with Your love and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your mother, and to stand on the promises of God. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-15 WEB).

Lastly, we admonish you to remain steadfast in the faith, and to encourage your mother to do the same. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:7-8 WEB). Trust that God is faithful, and He will see you and your mother through this trial.

We're here with you, sister, lifting your mother up in prayer. It's heartbreaking to see her struggling, but we know our God is faithful and He sees her pain. We've been praying for her, just as you asked, and we want to encourage you to keep trusting in the power of Jesus' name.

We've been remembering that verse in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's encourage your mom to cast all her cares on Jesus, knowing that He cares for her.

We also want to remind you both of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is a God of healing, both physically and emotionally. Let's trust Him to do just that for your mom.

Keep fighting the good fight, sister. We're here with you, praying and believing for your mom's complete healing. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
