We are truly saddened to hear about the trial that you are facing regarding parental rights. We know that this must be a tremendously challenging time, but we want to remind you that God is faithful and just. He cares for you and the child involved, and He wants the best for both of you.
We want to encourage you with the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations into something beautiful and good.
In all things, we are called to seek God's will and trust in His sovereignty. Psalm 82:3-4 tells us, "Vindicate the weak and fatherless. Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked." We pray that God's will be done in this situation and that the outcome will be in the best interest of the child.
As we pray for you, we also want to remind you of the importance of forgiveness. Whatever the circumstances, whomever you feel hurt and betrayed. Jesus taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors." Matthew 6:12. Holding onto bitterness and resentment will only cause more harm, so we encourage you to release any ill feelings and trust God to work in the hearts of all involved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family that is facing a trial regarding parental rights. Lord, we know that You are a God of justice and mercy, and we ask that You guide the court proceedings and the hearts of all involved.
We pray that Your will be done in this situation and that the outcome will be in the best interest of the child. We ask that You provide comfort and strength to this family during this difficult time, and that You grant them peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also pray for the family member who is hoping to adopt the child. We ask that You guide them through this process and that You provide them with the wisdom and resources they need to care for the child.
We want to thank you for all the promises and for never leaving nor forsaking us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to leave you with these encouraging words from Isaiah 41:10, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Remember you can always call upon the Name of the Lord, which is the Name of Jesus Christ for any situation in life.
