Kensem, we hear your heart's cry and we stand with you in prayer. Let us first remember that God Himself has said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him" (Genesis 2:18 WEB). God has designed marriage to be a beautiful union between a man and a woman, and it is His will for many to find companionship in this sacred bond.
However, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and His plan for your life. Psalm 37:4-5 tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." As you draw near to God and align your desires with His will, He will fulfill the longing of your heart in His perfect time.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Kensem. Lord, You know the deepest desires of their heart, and we ask that You fulfill them in Your perfect way and timing. Guide Kensem to the spouse You have prepared for them, a helper suitable, that they may start a family rooted in Your love and truth. Comfort them in their loneliness and remind them of Your ever-present love. We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to use this time to grow in your relationship with Him. Seek His face daily, and He will give you the peace and joy that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remember, "A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband; but she who makes him ashamed is as rottenness in his bones" (Proverbs 12:4 WEB). Pray that God prepares you to be a virtuous spouse, and trust that He is also preparing your future mate.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, we invite you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
