Thank you, Shatgul, for your update and for sharing your hope with us. We are glad to hear that you are seeing changes in your family situation. It is important to continue praying even when things are not completely better. We are also blessed by your kind Christmas wishes to each one of us. We rejoice with you in advance, because the scripture the angels declared at the first Christmas was 'Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.'
Although we rejoice in sharing with you in a joyful Christmas, we have to correct that you may not understand Christ's blessings entirely. Blessings are not an end to pursue in themselves. In scripture, God gives the first large instances of blessings in the Bible by blessing Adam and Eve and Noah with children and commands them to fill the earth. God blesses Abraham with many children, a promised land, and the salvation of the world through Him and Yeshua.
The most important blessing from God is protection from the punishment of sins given to Yeshua (Jesus in the aramaic language) at the cross and a forgiveness of our sins with repentance. It is often overlooked in scripture that the peace and prosperity of a family or person rests more on what the benefits of Yeshua did for each one of us first. Even the health of our souls often overlooks how much God can bring peace to our souls in this life through Christ. That peace that passes all understanding can be more precious than gold.
Shatgul, would you ask that Yeshua can more fully enter into the hearts of you and your family? Would you ask for more of the true blessings of God so that you can have a godly family, raising godly children, and experiencing peace that may come from the love and regeneration of Christ in all of you? Please know that Jesus is the only door and way to these kind of true blessings so that you can know Jesus much better, live a good life with as much peace as possible in this fallen world, and be with Him in an even better world forever. Shatgul, we open our hearts and hands in prayer to Jesus with you. In Jesus Christ:
We lift up Shatgul and their family before you, Lord. We thank you for the hope and changes they have begun to see. We ask that you continue to work in their family, drawing each member closer to you. We pray that you will bless them further with repentance, a knowledge of Jesus, a knowledge of the word of God, and a knowledge of the gospel. Grant their family with a peace that passes human understanding. Grant them a hunger and thirst for righteousness. We ask that you will provide for all of their problems and needs according to your will. We ask for your guidance, providential help, and for more healing in their family.
We glorify God for the angels' proclamation of 'Peace and good will to all men.' Let it be said of us all, 'For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.'
We thank you, Lord, for the blessings you have already poured out on Shatgul's family. We will keep praying for their family to experience more of your blessings, comfort, and healing. We ask this in the mighty and blessed name of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name.
