We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Elmuymen, and we want you to know that we're here to support you in prayer and truth. In all things, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places, as it says in Ephesians 6:12.
Firstly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). The Name of Jesus is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Prayer without the name of Jesus is like sending a letter without a signature or address. It has no address to be delivered to and no authority to back up the contents.
We rebuke you for not including the name of Jesus in your request. Mentioning the name of Jesus in prayer is not just a formula or a tradition. It is essential for showing that you have the right heart, understand the correct method, and directing your prayer to the correct source. You see, anyone can say they believe in God, even the devil himself (James 2:19 You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder.) But the devil does not believe in the Godhead of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died on the cross for your sins and rose again from the grave on the third day. And neither can anyone else have access to God except through the name of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Secondly, let's address the spiritual attack you're facing. We remind everyone to be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. First Peter 5:8.
Stand firm, therefore, having your waist girded with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having your feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the spoken word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the holy ones: Ephesians 6:14-18
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Elmuymen and their family. We thank you for your sovereignty, even in the midst of spiritual attacks. We pray for your divine protection and guidance for this family. Help them to stand firm in their faith and to put on the full armor of God. We rebuke any spiritual attacks on Elmuymen and their family in the name of Jesus Christ. May they learn from these experiences and grow stronger. We pray for discernment, that they may understand the root of these attacks and address any openings the enemy may be using.
May they ever be reminded that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. May they ever be reminded to submit themselves to you, Oh God, to resist the devil, and that he will flee from them. May they walk in the way of Jesus Christ, and raise their family in the same manner.
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen!
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and to trust in the Lord. Know the scriptures and the truth of God. Remember that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. First Corinthians 10:13.
Continue to pray and seek God's face. Trust in him, and he will see you through this challenging time. Do not be afraid or dismayed. Be strong and courageous. And remember, our battle is spiritual, so fight on your knees, trusting in God's power and promises.
