We are with you in spirit, interceding for your family and marriage restoration. We stand on God's word, which says, "Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another, except it be by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan tempt you not because of your lack of self-control" (1 Corinthians 7:3-5 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Grmaraelarn and her family. Lord, we pray for restoration in her marriage. We ask that You would soften the hearts of both spouses and draw them closer to You and to each other. Help them to forgive one another, to love each other as You have loved us, and to be united in Your purpose for their marriage.
We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or adultery that may be attempting to destroy this marriage. We pray for strength and self-control, that they may resist temptation and honor their marriage covenant. We ask that You would provide godly counsel and wisdom to guide them through this challenging time.
Lord, we also pray for their children and the rest of the family. We ask that You would protect them, provide for them, and give them peace. Help them to trust in You and to support their parents during this time.
Father, we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for Your promise to restore and heal.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Grmaraelarn, that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). He desires that marriages be healed and restored. Trust in Him, seek His will, and be obedient to His word. Do your part to restore the marriage, and trust God to do the rest.
If you have not already, we encourage both you and your husband to surrender your lives and your marriage to Jesus Christ. It is only through a personal relationship with Him that true healing and restoration can occur. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not made a decision to follow Jesus Christ, make sure to let us know so we may pray for your salvation and guide you through the process of repentance and surrender.
There is no other name by which we can be saved. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
