Dear Brethren and Prayer warriors,
Please be aware of this, prayers/"miracles"/deliverance scammer spamming all new prayer requests. Don't fall for it.

1) "Prophet" Imafidon
https://www.prayerrequest.com/members/prophet-imafidon.916106/
the actual "prophet" looks like this https://www.facebook.com/prophetJeff/

2) "Prophet" Emmanuel
https://www.prayerrequest.com/threads/hello-i-am-prophet-emmanuel-by-name.4348039/#post-31663530
Here is another one, probably the same person. As the phone number is the same and is based in Nigeria.

This is, unfortunately, a very common internet scam, when you contact the number they go on to demand money for special "prayers", "miracles" and "deliverance" or you will be "cursed". Most times the numbers are premium numbers, which cost a 'fortune' to contact. You can see he has spam posted this same message on numerous prayer requests hoping to find victims. The photo in the profile picture belongs to a gay Episcopal priest called Antonio Checo who passed away in April due to the corvid-19 virus.

The Bible clearly commands us to test all such claims especially those who claim to be speaking directly from God.
1 John 4:1 - "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. "
1 Thessalonians 5:21 -"but test all things. Hold fast to what is good. "

The Bereans are models of what every Christian should do. Though zealous to hear, they did not thoughtlessly or uncritically accept what Paul said. They first tested it for themselves from the Scriptures and then submitted themselves to following it. Acts 17:11 - "Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. " There is only one standard by which we should judge all things in love, and that is the word of God. If anyone cannot or will not prove beliefs, teachings, sayings, or prophecies claimed to be from God using clear and unambiguous scriptures in truth, without distorting the gospel or asking for money that fact should at least raise a red flag. Clear scriptures are a solid-rock foundation. Ambiguous scriptures, readings, or sayings, open to private interpretation, lead to a foundation of sand. Only one of these foundations will stand when storms come (Matthew 7:24-27).

Thank u for sharing, I was narrowly taken by "prophet imafidon" he asked for money for prayers, Jesus didn't demand anything to save us so I decided to quit.let's pray for repentance as God's anger is going higher & higher.let's pray for them too to turn a way from sin.I love yo message. Be blessed

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge - if sinners entice you, do not consent - Those who hearken to wisdom will dwell safely.
