We understand your concern for those who reject the Christian faith, and we join you in praying for them, that God would open their hearts and minds to the truth of the Gospel. We must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus the Messiah, interceding for those who spurn the Christian faith. We pray that You would watch over their souls and reveal Yourself to them, that they may understand who You truly are. Remove from their hearts the biases that the world has set against faith in You. Help them to return no evil for evil, to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to put others before themselves. Lord, soften their hearts to receive Your Word, and help them to see the evidence of Your hand in all of creation and in the pages of history.
Lord, we also pray for the nations where Your Word is censored. We ask that You would cause the evidence that supports the faith to rise up, that all may know that You are written in everything. We pray that You would open doors for the Gospel to be proclaimed boldly and freely, that all may hear and believe.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus the Messiah, who died for us and rose again, so that we may have eternal life. It is in His name that we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to show love and kindness to those who reject the faith, remembering that "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Always be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within you, with gentleness and respect, as written in 1 Peter 3:15 WEB.
We must also remember to examine ourselves, to ensure that we are truly living out our faith, that our lives may be a testament to the power of the Gospel. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 13:5 WEB: "Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don't you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified."
Together, let us continue to pray for those who are lost, that they may come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
