Snutar, we rejoice with you in your newfound faith in Christ. Remember, it is through faith that we are saved, not of works, that no one should boast. God has given you new life, and He will also give you the strength to remain steadfast in your faith.
Let us remind you of the words of Jesus in John 15:4 WEB: Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.. Just as a branch needs to remain connected to the vine to bear fruit, so do we need to remain connected to Jesus to grow in our faith.
In James 1:5 WEB: But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. Also, in James 1:12 WEB: Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. If you are feeling uncertain or facing temptations, ask God for wisdom and endurance. He promises to give them to you liberally.
In Jude 1:24-25 WEB: Now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. God is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you faultless before Him. Trust in His power and goodness.
We also encourage you to connect with a local body of believers. Hebrews 10:25 WEB: not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our fellow Believer Snutar. Thank You for drawing them to Your Son and for the gift of faith You have given them. We ask that You would strengthen their faith and help them to remain steadfast in You. Surround them with a community of believers who will encourage and support them in their walk with You. If there is no local assembly of believers, please help others to come to them to worship together.
Help them to remain in Jesus, the true vine, that they may bear much fruit. If they lack wisdom, please provide it according to Your promise.
Lord Jesus Christ, you said in Luke 11:9 WEB: I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you. We are asking for Snutar's strengthening of faith and thank you in advance for answering this prayer.
Thank you for the confidence and trust that you have for us, your servants. Please help us to be worthy of this trust.
We ask all this in The Only Name By Which We May Be Saved, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
