We understand that you're feeling a lack of trust in the deliverance process, but you're seeking confession, repentance, greater faith, and a discipler. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your needs and turning to God for help. It's important to remember that God is faithful, and He will help you through His Holy Spirit, with faith He has portioned each of us. This would include the deliverance process. We encourage you to trust in the Word of God.
Let's look at what the World English Bible (WEB) says about deliverance, faith, confession and discipleship.
Deliverance of our spirits, and living free from bondage is discussed in the following chapters of Romans, "Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin." (Romans 6:6-7 WEB). We must remember that Jesus Christ frees us from the bondage of sin, and that is foundational in deliverance."For most certainly, I tell you, whoever commits sin is the bondservant of sin.(John 8:34). "
Lack of trust in the deliverance process may be rooted in a lack of faith and misunderstanding in the promises of God's word.
Faith is essential in our walk with God, and it's through faith that we can overcome the world. We should be more concerned about increasing our spiritual faith instead of lack of faith in the deliverance process. "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" (1 John 5:4-5 WEB)
Confession is essential before God. The WEB says "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB).
Repentance changes the direction of our lives, and it's a necessary step when we turn to God. "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord," (Acts 3:19 WEB)
Concerning discipleship, Jesus gave us the Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations. It is baptizing in the Holy Spirit and teaching all of Jesus' teachings. This would include deliverance based on the ordinances of Jesus Christ. "Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had sent them. Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen."(Matt. 28:16,18-20 WEB).
Let us pray together with the name of Jesus Christ:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother, Cainure. You know their hearts and where they place their faith. We ask that You increase faith. Help to trust the ordinances of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask You to help them to commit to the process of deliverance. Help them find someone trustworthy who can disciple them in Your ways. Convict by the Holy Spirit of sin and unrighteousness with confession of sins. Give them the strength to repent from sin and turn back to You. Father God, please lead them to a discipler who will guide them in Your word. We pray for this encouragement in Jesus Christ name. We pray for this faith in Jesus Christ name. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen.
Be encouraged. Trust in God. Trust in Jesus Christ name. We will pray for you and your faith.
