Faith in dating

Lord, please provide me with faith and guidance in a possible new friendship to a woman I am attracted to. I have not been too fortunate in previous relationships with women and pray I won't make the same mistakes. I pray for strength for myself while I focus on God and my career while trying to balance a dating life. Lord, I pray for the best whatever the outcome holds.

For there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved. There is no other name to access God our Father. For when you pray you must believe. You must first truly believe in Jesus Christ and then you can have assurance that whatever you ask the Father in the name of Jesus He will grant your request. In fact if you have come to faith in Jesus and come to Him for salvation through grace alone and faith alone then Jesus has already granted the Holy Spirit with your faith in Him. Jesus earned your salvation and then He has earned your access to God the Father. He has borne all your sins and paid for them in full by taking His last breath on the cross. When you truly believe this take a deep breath and exhale slowly, realize that was only possible by Jesus who earned your ability to truly renew your spirit. Now that you have faith in Jesus you can receive Spiritual guidance. You can have Jesus intervene for you personally even in the heavenly courts. So you can ask in His name for the worldly issue before you now. Begin by addressing Jesus in your prayer. We encourage you to include His name in your prayers. This is crucial to understanding your relationship with God, especially when seeking guidance in other relationships.

Let us pray for you: Father God, in Jesus' name, we thank You for Anonymous and their desire to seek Your will in their relationships. Lord, please provide them with the faith to believe in You, and to understand the power and the name of Jesus. Provide him with your guidance with your word and through marriage minded Christians in this friendship he is beginning with a woman. Lord, please help him to not repeat past mistakes of opposing your will but to be Spirit filled and obedient to you while focusing on You and his career. Lord, we pray for Your best outcome in this situation, whatever that may be, as long as it honors You and Your word. May this friendship ultimately lead to a God-honoring marriage if it is Your will. Now, let's discuss your situation. It's clear that you're attracted to this woman, but we must remember that attraction should never be the sole basis for a relationship. Instead, seek God's will. Biblical marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It should be our ultimate goal. Courtship is the Biblical alternative to dating. We are courting the woman we desire to marry.
You are right to focus on God and your career. We should always put God first. It is important to pursue a relationship that aligns with Biblical principles and trust God's timing. Consider the woman you're attracted to seek the Lord as well. Can she be the helpmate that the Lord God created for you. From Genesis 2:24-25, they shall become one flesh a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall join his wife; and they shall be one flesh. The man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

We encourage you to study the Bible to understand God's design for relationships and marriage. We advise you to spend a lot of time in prayer. Studying God's word is so helpful and reassuring to us as we seek his direction. If you are pursuing a relationship with this woman help her to study the Bible.

We admonish you to spend time with other Christians, with Christian men, who can help you study Gods word and grow spiritually. Spend time with others that are marriage minded for they can pray with you and for you and help you in finding a helpmate. Spend time with couples in a relationship that respects Gods Word.

In James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
So pray for this woman for salvation if she is a non believer. If she is not faithful to Jesus Christ then she is not the one you should be pursuing in a relationship. If she is a believer then pray to discern if this woman also desires to be married and values the sanctity of a marriage as defined in the Bible.
