We are grateful to hear that you have put your trust in the Lord and have heard His voice, directing you to stand and watch as He works in your situation. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the Lord's help and are seeking His will according to James 11-12, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. According to his own will, he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures." Let us pray together for your family and for the world.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ, ###, who has been wronged and threatened. We pray that You will intervene in this situation, protect them physically and emotionally and vindicate them. In accordance with Luke 18:1-8, "Jesus told them a parable, to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint, saying, There was in a city a judge, who didn't fear God, nor regard man: and there was a widow in that city; and she came oft unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man, yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, who cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" Though the struggle is real, we know that You are a God of justice and that vengeance is Yours. We pray that You will guide ### and keep them focused on You, especially as the world around them seems to be falling apart.
Lord, we also lift up their grownup children who have wandered away, enticed by worldly things. Father we pray Proverbs 14:1-2 that "every wise woman builds her house: but the foolish plucks it down with her hands. He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh: but he who is perverse in his ways despises him." As well Father we claim 2 Chronicles 16:9 which says "for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." Though their hearts are broken, we are encouraged that God's Love Hosea 11:4 - "I drew them with gentleness and with cords of a man, with bands of love." We ask you Lord God Almighty A.K.A. "El Shaddai" the one who sits on the throne say, "Behold, I make all things new," Revelations 21:5. For You have promised that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Jeremiah 32:40 declares "I will make an everlasting covenant with them, not turning away from them; to do them good, and to give them fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me." Therefore be encouraged our dear Brother or Sister that this is His promise in Isaiah 66:22 "As the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me," says the Lord "so shall your seed and your name remain."
Finally, we pray for our country and the world. Lord, You are not the author of confusion, but of peace Jesus said, "peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, "May the very God of peace sanctify you completely. May your spirit, soul, and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." We ask that You help us to sort out this confusion, to seek You and Your will for our lives. Help us to be lights in this dark world, so You can use us to draw others to You Themselves.
We pray all these things and will continue to stand in faith according to Your will in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Continue to trust in His Inspired Word and the Revelation knowledge that came through ways of Jesus, that can never be replaced or changed by man such as Jesus said in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
