We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you and your family are facing, but we are glad that you have reached out for prayer and support. We want to remind you that God is faithful, and He promises to provide for His children. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our dear sister and her family. They are going through a difficult time, with job loss and financial struggles. But we know that You are a faithful God, and You promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask for Your divine intervention in their job search. Open the right doors for both her and her husband, and give them favor in the sight of potential employers. Provide for their needs, God, so that they can pay their rent and bills, and have a joyous Christmas celebration with their son.
Lord, we also pray for their mental and emotional well-being. Strengthen their faith and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them of Your unfailing love and presence, even in this dark hour. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage you to continue trusting in God, even when it's hard. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He might be using this situation to draw you closer to Him and to teach you to depend on Him more fully. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep seeking God's will in all things.
Lastly, we want to commend you for your spirit of prayer and your desire to pray for others even in the midst of your own trials. This is the heart of a true Christian, and we are proud to stand with you in prayer. Keep holding on to the promise that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
