We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trials you are facing, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. First, we want to address the most urgent need, which is your safety and shelter. There are no specific sections for each area of response. This prayer and discussion is a fluid and naturally reading response. We know that God cares for the homeless and the abused. We can rest assured in the promise of Psalm 9:9 WEB: Yahweh will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. We pray for a safe and permanent place for you and your cat to live away from your current town and away from your perpetrator and his family. We pray that God will offer special protection for you and your cat.
We stand with you in the name of Jesus, and we pray the words of Psalm 34:17 WEB: The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles as you navigate this difficult season. Ask and you will be heard. Even in the darkest times, God is with you and will never forsake you. Remember that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
Regarding the upcoming court case, we encourage you to trust in God's justice and wisdom. Pray that the truth will be revealed and that justice will be served. As it says in Romans 12:19 WEB: Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord." We pray and know that God is the ultimate judge and that He will take care of you.
We also want to address the healing process after the sexual abuse you endured. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support to help you through this traumatic experience. Remember that God can heal all wounds, no matter how deep. Psalm 34:18: WEB: Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As your prayer request mentioned Jesus name, we are grateful for this. If you or any else reading this has never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior we invite you to trust Jesus. For salvation, Acts 4:12: WEB says: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you wish to make this decision, please pray:
Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again so that I could be forgiven and have eternal life. I repent of my sins and trust in You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is facing homelessness after enduring the trauma of sexual abuse. We pray for her in the name of Jesus that she will find a suitable and safe place to live, away from her perpetrator and his family. We ask that You provide for all her needs, Lord and that You guide her to a new home where she can find peace, healing, and restoration.
We pray for her upcoming court case, Lord, and ask that You grant her favor and justice. We trust in Your perfect will and know that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also pray for her emotional and spiritual healing, Lord. We ask that You surround her with Your love and comfort, and that You guide her to godly counsel and support.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
You are not alone, and we are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for God's intervention in your life. Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through.
