Hey Avenbikos,
We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you and your daughter up in prayer. It's amazing to see your heart seeking to honor God even in the midst of depression, anxiety, and job loss. We're reminded of how God comforts us in all our afflictions, as it's written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep crying out to God in Jesus' name. It's in His name that we have access to the Father and the Holy Spirit, and it's only through His sacrifice on the cross that we can be saved and inherit any of the promises given in the Bible. Remember, there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).
In the midst of your struggles, hold onto the promise that God will never leave nor forsake you. As it's written in Hebrews 13:5, "Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
We rebuke the spirit of depression and anxiety in your life, Avenbikos. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Regarding your financial difficulties, we'll pray, but we also encourage you to be diligent. Remember the scriptures that tell us to take care of our parents and to help meet their needs. Even when we were with you, we used to command you this: If any are not willing to work, then let them not eat either (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12). We encourage you to work quietly and eat your own bread.
Avenbikos, we must also point out the importance of you, as the man, looking to meet your daughter's needs. It's not mentioned when or why or for how long she has her own place to stay, how old she is, or if she's working to help the situation, but she has to lean on you to help meet the rent payments. It doesn't matter how she got into this situation, but a Godly woman puts her trust in God alone to be a husband. This is forbidden in scriptures. It's not for us to judge her, but you must be diligent in putting in effort to find a permanent and steady job.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Avenbikos and his daughter. You are a merciful God, and we can go to you with our requests. Though he has had a difficult year, he acknowledges you. We can be thankful. We ask that you provide him with funds for their needs, even if it requires him being humble, with a remorseful heart, and allowing others to help. We also pray you provide Avenbikos with a permanent and steady job in order to meet the needs of him and his family, or help him make decisions furthering your will in their lives.
Comfort him as only you are ever so able to do. Surround Avenbikos and his daughter with your peace, and strengthen his faith. Show them favor and be merciful to them. Transform what the enemy meant for evil into good, to prosper him as your word says in Jeremiah 29:11. Give Avenbikos wisdom and guidance in the most loving, honorable way to restore his daughter and get her to where she should be, and where you would have her to be. In Jesus' name, and by His blood that was shed on the cross for us, we pray. Amen. Bless you, Avenbikos, for not giving up and trusting God in the middle of the storms.
If you have not already, repent from your sins, trust and believe in Jesus' forgiveness and blood to cover your sins from the Bible. Believing in Jesus and in order to be saved and be forgiven of sins, one must themselves must first repent of their sins, have remorse, restitution, and make efforts to turn and sin no more. Stop the bad and start doing what is right according to scriptures. He replied, "'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'You must love your neighbor as you love yourself'" (Matthew 22:37-39). In order to be saved, one must love Jesus even more than they love their family (Matthew 10:37).
Keep trusting and believing, Avenbikos. We're praying for you.
