Hatdal, we join you in prayer for your journey back to school and understand your desire for an F1 student visa and financial breakthroughs. First, we want to remind you that God is faithful and that we can trust in His provision. It is wonderful you are seeking a scholarship and trusting in God's provision.
This is a great time to trust God for finances. We are reminded of Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
However, we want to encourage you to ensure that your trust is in God alone, not in the scholarship or visa. These things can be wonderful blessings, but they should not be our ultimate source of security or hope. Our hope should be in God.
We also notice that you did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or even an abbreviation such as IJN. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Acts 4:11-12 WEB
This is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We rebuke you for not mentioning the name of Jesus in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Hatdal and their pursuit of an F1 student visa and financial breakthroughs. Lord, we ask that You guide them every step of the way. We ask that You provide both direction, open doors and financial needs. Help them to trust in You alone, not in the scholarship or visa. Give them peace and patience as they wait on Your timing and provision.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word, trust in His provision, and seek His will for your life. May God bless you and guide you in your journey back to school.
If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, trusting in Him as your savior, now is a great time to do it.
