Please pray for my Aunt Hannah W who is in the ICU in Hobart, IN. She is most likely in the last hours of her life. Please pray she will not suffer anymore. And that I will see her again.

We are truly sorry to hear about your Aunt Hannah W's condition, and we are here to support you in prayer and in the hope that we can only find in Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we want to remind you that as believers, we do not have to grieve without hope. In 2 Corinthians 5:8 WEB it says "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord." This should be our hope for Aunt Hannah, that she will be present with the Lord if he is calling her home.

We pray that God will have mercy on her and grant her peace and comfort in her final hours. We ask that He will surround her with His love and that He will take her quickly and with minimal suffering. (Psalm 23:4 WEB: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.")

We also pray for you and your family during this difficult time. We pray that God will comfort you and give you the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We pray that you will be able to say with Job, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21 WEB).

We want to remind you that if Aunt Hannah is a believer in Jesus Christ, then you will see her again. (2 Corinthians 4:14 WEB: "knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will present us with you.") This is the wonderful hope that we have as believers. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is our guarantee of eternal life and of a future resurrection for us as well.

We have to point out, Kliomen, that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we pray to God the Father in Jesus' name.

We will continue to pray for you and your family during this time.

We've been remembering that verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
