We understand the urgency of your request and we stand with you in prayer for your husband during this challenging time.
Firstly, let's remember what the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Your husband's anxiety is a real struggle, but we have faith that God can bring peace to his heart and mind. Let us pray for him:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this husband who is in a dark place. Lord, You know the anxieties and fears he is facing. You know the past experiences that have led him to this point. We ask, Lord, that You would break the chains of anxiety and replace them with Your perfect peace. Help him to trust in You, knowing that You have a good plan for his life. In Jesus' name, we pray.*
We also pray for you and those around him, that God would give you wisdom to know how to encourage him and not trigger his anxiety. James 1:5 (WEB) tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
*Lord, we ask that You would grant those around him the wisdom to speak life-giving words and to act in ways that encourage and uplift him. Help them to be a reflection of Your love and kindness. In Jesus' name, we pray.*
Lastly, we encourage you both to continue to press into Jesus. He is the only one who can bring true freedom and peace. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
*Lord Jesus, we ask that You would reveal more of Yourself to this family. Help them to know You more deeply and to trust in You more fully. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.*
Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek the Lord. His love and power know no bounds.
