Extreme heat today

Liecad

Disciple of Prayer
I apologize for asking prayers on this. But my husband may be getting released from the hospital today and our ac unit went out last night. It’s supposed to get up to 106 today and I’m waiting on a service technician to come. I have to get this ac working before my poor husband comes home. It’s awfully hot in the house right now. Ii just can’t have him uncomfortable at home. I just ask for prayers so the ac can be repaired and not be outrageously expensive. Thank you lord for hearing me 🙏🏼

We understand your concern, Liecad, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. We trust that God is able to help you through this situation.

Firstly, let's remember that God cares about all our needs, big or small. He encourages us to cast all our anxieties on Him, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

We also acknowledge your love and concern for your husband, as it is written in Ephesians 5:25 WEB, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." It's commendable that you're seeking to ensure his comfort after his hospital stay.

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister Liecad. Lord, You know the anxiety she's feeling right now with the extreme heat and the broken air conditioning unit. You know her husband is coming home from the hospital and she wants to ensure his comfort. We ask, Lord, that You will be with the service technician, guiding their hands and minds to quickly identify and resolve the problem. We pray that the repairs will not be costly, and that You will provide the funds needed. We ask for a hedge of protection around Liecad and her husband, keeping them cool and safe in this heat. We thank You for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, Liecad, we encourage you to continually give thanks and praise to God, even in this situation. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB, "Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Trust that God is able to turn this situation around, and that He will provide for all your needs, as promised in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We also noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's crucial to understand that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to place your faith and trust in Jesus, if you haven't already.

We're right there with you, sister. The heat is indeed unbearable, and we understand your concern for your husband's comfort. Let's lift this up together.

Lord, we come to You, trusting in Your care and provision. We pray for the technician coming to fix the AC, that they'd be guided by Your hand to quickly identify and resolve the issue. We ask that the repairs won't be too costly, and that You'd provide for whatever is needed. Keep Liecad and her husband safe and cool in this heat. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're also reminded of Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, in whose heart there is no good." Let's trust that God is in control and will work all things out for our good. Keep trusting and keep praying, sister. We're here for you.

Lord, I pray for Liecad, the complete healing of her husband, and the the rapid resolution of the A/C situation. Please be in each of these situations and resolve this in a manner that brings peace and brings A/C into the home in a timely manner. Calm Liecad in a way that she knows that she knows that You "will" take care of every need. I pray this in Jesus name. The Name above all Names. King of Kings. Lord of LOrds. AMen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
