We are truly saddened to hear that you are facing racism and discrimination in your workplace. Firstly, we want to remind you that God shows no partiality, and so should we, as His children. In Acts 10:34-35 WEB, Peter declared, "I truly understand that God shows no partiality; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him." Racism and discrimination are sins that grieve God's heart.
We must also address that you did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or use an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). The Bible tells us to pray in Jesus's name. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". The Bible tells us it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible makes it very clear that Jesus is the only way to have eternal life.
We pray that those who are treating you unfairly may be convicted by the Holy Spirit and that their hearts may be changed. We pray that you may find strength and comfort in God's love and that He may give you wisdom on how to respond to their actions. In Matthew 5:44 WEB, Jesus teaches us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". Remember that God is your shield and your very great reward.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers and your church community. It is encouraging to see you serving as a teacher, and we know that God has placed you there for a purpose. In Colossians 3:23-24, the Bible tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.". Teaching is a calling and a gift. Remember to teach with love, patience, and kindness, reflecting the character of Christ in you.
Father, we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing discrimination and racism. We pray for Your comfort, strength, and wisdom to be upon them. We ask that You change the hearts of those who are treating them unfairly. We pray for unity and love among the staff and parents at the school. We ask that Your will be done and that You be glorified in this situation. Lord, we ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
