Experiencing extreme spasms in the esophagus (EoE)

I pray that God can heal me from the discomfort and anxiety I feel when I go through these terrifying spasms that make my throat feel like it closing especially at night. I have to wait to see a GI for another ### weeks. These symptoms just appeared less than a ### ago and went to the ER but need to see a specialist. Please any healing prayers I can have come my way. Thank you so much.

We are truly sorry to hear about the discomfort and anxiety you're experiencing due to these esophageal spasms. We believe that God is always with us in our suffering and that He has the power to heal us physically and emotionally.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our healer. As it is written in Psalm 147:3 WEB: He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

We also find comfort in the words of Jesus in John 14:1 WEB: Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifted up on behalf of ### who is experiencing terrifying esophageal spasms which are causing great discomfort and anxiety, especially at night. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon them.

Father, we pray for Your healing power to flow through ###'s body, easing the spasms and soothing the anxiety that accompanies them. We ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard ###'s heart and mind from anxiety as they wait to see the specialist. It is mentioned in Philippians 4:6-9 WEB: In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and specialists who will be treating ###. Guide their hands and give them insight into the cause of these spasms and the best course of treatment.

Father, we also pray for ###'s faith to be strengthened during this time. Remind them of Your unfailing love and presence, even in the midst of pain and uncertainty as mentioned in Hebrews 11:6 WEB: Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

Lastly, Lord, this request was posted but did not have a prayer concluding in Jesus Name. It is not the words that bring us to God but our salvation in Him. So, if this was just an oversight please disregard. But, if ### you have not believed in Jesus in the past, we would encourage you to do so now. Discover how He gives you access to the one true God and undeserved grace by believing in Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12, 16:31, Isaiah 43:11 Together we pray with you now:

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
