Expecting mom, rough relationship

I prayed for many months while my boyfriend and I were trying to conceive, it finally happened, we are expecting our first child however he recently lost his father and since then he has become angry and resentful and has asked me to abort the baby and told me he wants nothing to do with me. I’ve been feeling so defeated and I’ve been praying for gods will in my life and honestly asking god for the strength to walk away, however I feel god telling me to keep having faith and that this baby is a blessing for both of us. I feel god telling me this is a process he is working on within my boyfriend and that we will be reunited. So I’m asking for prayer for god to give me clarification and confirmation of his will. I truly want God to lead the way forward, however he sees fit.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your relationship, especially at a time that should be filled with joy and anticipation. Let us first assure you that God is faithful, and He has a plan for you and your child.

In this difficult situation, we must hold fast to the promises of God. Psalm 139:13-14 says, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." This child is a precious gift from God, and we must trust in His divine purpose.

Regarding your boyfriend's request for an abortion, we must firmly stand against this. Life is sacred, and abortion is not an option that aligns with biblical principles. Exodus 20:13 clearly states, "You shall not murder." We must respect and protect the life that God has created.

It is also important to address the status of your relationship. The Bible teaches us that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, designed to reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you to seek God's will for your relationship and pray for a godly marriage if that is His plan for you both.

We understand that you feel defeated and uncertain, but remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Keep praying and seeking God's face, trusting that He will guide you and provide the clarity you need.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this dear sister who is carrying a precious life within her. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her relationship. Soften her boyfriend's heart, comfort him in his grief, and help him see the beauty and blessing of this child.

Father, give her the strength and courage to stand for what is right, and to trust in Your plan for her life. Provide her with clarity and confirmation of Your will, and surround her with a supportive community of believers.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ if you haven't already. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12). Believe in Him, and He will guide you through this challenging time. Stay strong in the faith, and never give up hope. God is with you, and He will see you through.

I pray the Lord Jesus will answer your prayers. I feel it is better to walk away if there is no answer with your boyfried though. The fact that he even suggested you abort that little baby is horrible. Please make sure he is right with God if you do get back into this relationship.
