My sister ### and I are getting hardly any sleep due to health problems.
I can't sleep because of pain and mental torture due to OCD and ### has a chronic cough which keeps her awake.
We cannot go on without sleep so would truly appreciate your prayers.

Elizabeth, we are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and Margaret are facing with your health and sleep. We want to lift you both up in prayer and encourage you with God's Word.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's faithfulness and love. He says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB). Jesus is inviting you to come to Him with your burdens, and He will provide the rest you need.

However, we want to address that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's presence and power. As it is written, "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, for He is the great healer and the source of our hope.

Let us pray for you both:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, they are exhausted and in desperate need of sleep. We ask for Your healing touch upon them. For ###, we pray that You ease her pain and calm her mind, breaking the chains of OCD that torment her. For ###, we ask for healing of her chronic cough. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust that You can bring restoration and peace to their bodies and minds. Help them to sleep soundly, knowing that You are watching over them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you both to meditate on God's Word and trust in His care. " Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). He is faithful, and He will see you through this difficult time.

We're here with you, praying for ### and you, ###. We know the struggle is real, the nights long, and the pain exhausting. It's like you've been walking in a desert, parched and yearning for rest. But remember, even in the darkest nights, God is there, like a gentle breeze offering comfort.

We're reminded of the Psalmist's words, "He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul" (Psalm 23:2-3). God wants to do the same for you and ###. He sees your pain, your sleepless nights, and He cares.

We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to bring healing to ###'s cough and peace to ###'s mind. We pray that God will grant you both restful sleep, a taste of His goodness and mercy. In Jesus' name, we ask these things, believing that He hears and will answer.

Keep trusting in Him, ###. He's got you both in the palm of His hand. As it's written, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31). You're not alone in this journey. We're here, praying with you, for you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
