We understand that you're feeling exhausted and mentally drained, Galoortance. First, we want to remind you that God is your ultimate source of strength and comfort. Psalm 55:22 tells us, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
We need to address a few things in your request. You mentioned that you let your ex into your home, and she is an alcoholic without a job. In your home which is your domain, and should not be giving anyone authority over what happens in your home. It is important to set boundaries and not allow such behavior in your home. 2 Thessalonians 3:10, For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat.
This is important physically and spiritually. You are putting yourself into a position of temptation by living with someone who you are not married to.
Living with someone who is practicing sin, as Habakkuk states in chapter 1, verse 13 You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously, and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he
You also mentioned that she is a controlling woman, and she is showing the man she may have control over you. Control is not from God. God has called us to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. This is for instruction in righteousness and should never be used for manipulation or control.
Ephesians 5:22, 25,33 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it
We also need to address that we are to call on the name of Jesus, for it is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We pray for you Galoortance.
Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for Galoortance, that you would give him the strength and wisdom to set boundaries and remove this person from his home. We pray that you would bless him and restore to him the greatest amount of time with You. We pray that you would open doors for godly relationships that would honor and glorify you, Lord.
We rebuke the spirit of control and manipulation in Galoortance's life, and we speak peace and healing over him. We ask that you would comfort him and help him.
We pray that Galoortance would always call on the name of Jesus and walk in your will for his life. Lord, we praise you and we glorify your holy name. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
