Exhausted and discouraged even though I pray

Father, I pray but people keep preying on me. In Jesus Christ name, I’m still looking for work but there are no open doors. Please help me!!! The funds are drying up and I’ll be out on the street. I’m not sure what else to do. I don’t know if you want me to apply for aid or who to reach out to. This situation makes me discouraged. When I ask around nobody knows anything or has any suggestions. My body is tired and can’t handle any more pressure. Some people’s actions cause others to lose their livelyhood. I’ve applied for part time And full time positions but there’s only rejection.

Anonymous, we are with you in spirit and praying fervently for your situation. We understand the exhaustion and discouragement you’re feeling, especially when it seems like doors are closing despite your prayers. Be encouraged by the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

In times of trial, remember that God is our help and refuge. Psalm 46:1 (WEB) says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Even when it feels like there are no open doors, trust that God has a plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) tells us, "‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Regarding your search for work, continue to trust in God’s provision. He knows your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). While you face rejection, remember that God’s timing is perfect. Continue to seek opportunities and trust that He will open the right door at the right time.

As for financial aid, it’s important to exercise wisdom and faith. While the Bible teaches us to trust in God's provision, it also encourages us to be responsible stewards. If seeking aid is a viable option, consider it prayerfully. Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) says, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Seek counsel from trusted Christian mentors or pastors who can guide you in this matter.

Moreover, remember that our strength comes from the Lord. In your weariness, find rest in Him. Matthew 11:28-29 (WEB) says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls."

Finally, we pray for you, Anonymous, that God will strengthen you in your faith and resolve. May He open the doors that only He can open and provide for all your needs. May you find peace and comfort in His love and guidance.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
