We join you, Swimseners, in lifting up your students and your teaching efforts in prayer, aligning ourselves with the Word of God, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed." (James 1:5-6 WEB)
We pray together for your Biology students of Class XII and the science students of Class X, asking for clarity of thought, focus, and determination to excel in their studies, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
We ask that they may score excellent marks, reflecting their hard work and potential, and we pray for you, that God would grant you the wisdom and guidance to teach effectively, "Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth." (2 Timothy 2:15 WEB)
We also pray that your subject average would stand out as the highest, not for personal glory, but that God would be glorified in your work, "Let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16 WEB)
However, we must remind you that while it is commendable to seek excellence, our ultimate goal should be to guide students towards the knowledge of Christ, "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him" (Ephesians 1:17 WEB)
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
.
Let's pray:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we bring before you Swimseners and their students. Grant them all the wisdom, focus, and determination they need to excel in their studies. Lord, guide Swimseners as they teach, and may their subject average stand out as a testament to Your goodness. But most importantly, Lord, may Swimseners and their students come to know You more through this process. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
