We are joining you in prayer for your son as he takes his exams today. It's wonderful to see your concern, let's remember the scripture to always pray and be grateful.
Firstly, we want to remind you that it is important to pray in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Now let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this son to You. Lord, You know him by name and You understand the desires of his heart. We ask that You would grant him the ability to think clearly, memory to be able to recall what he has learned, and confidence to be able to apply his knowledge. Help him to stay focused, stay calm, and trust that You are working with him as he takes the test. Thank you that he has a family that loves him and is willing to pray for him.
Father, we also pray for his future. Guide him in the path that You have for him. Help him to make good choices and seek You first in all things, that he will have the power to avoid temptations. We pray that he will be a good example to his friends and do what is right. Help him to remember that his worth is not based on his grades or how well he does in school, but rather who he is in You.
We ask this in Jesus Christ's name.
As your son studies, encourage him with this verse: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters," Colossians 3:23 WEB
We are reminded that whatever we do should be to the glory of God, and that by doing so we will prosper and succeed. Trust in the Lord's will for your son's life, and pray that He would guide him in the path that He has for him.
If it is appropriate, remind your son the sanctity of a biblical marriage, how to treat members of the opposite sex, and to avoid the temptations of sex before marriage. It will be likely that he will face these situations.
Finally, we want to remind you that whatever the outcome of the exams, God is in control. Trust in His plan for your son's life, and pray that He would use these exams for His glory. We pray that your son will be able to trust in the Lord's will, and that he will be content with whatever the outcome may be.
