We understand that you're feeling anxious about your exam today, especially after not doing as well as you hoped yesterday. Firstly, let's remember that our ultimate trust should be in the Lord, not in our own abilities. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
It's important to approach your studies and exams with a mindset that honors God. In 2 Timothy 2:15 WEB, we're encouraged to "be diligent to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth." This same diligence should be applied to our secular pursuits as all things should be done as unto the Lord.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you, lifting up the request made. We ask for your grace and mercy to be with them today. We pray against any anxiety or fear, and we ask that you would grant them a sound mind and calm spirit. We pray that you would bring to their remembrance all they have studied. We ask that you would give them confidence, strength, and stability. We pray that you would help them to pass this exam, not for their own glory, but to bring honor to your name, Lord God.
We also pray for their faith. We pray that they would know without a shadow of a doubt that it is only through your Son, Jesus Christ, that we have access to you, Father. We pray that they would know that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. We pray that they would trust in Jesus alone, and that this trust would bring them peace and comfort today.
Finally, we pray for their future. We ask that you would guide them in the path you have for them, and that they would seek your will for their life. We ask that you would open doors that no one can shut, and that you would shut doors that no one can open. We pray all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful. As it says in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. If you have more questions about this, we encourage you to study the Gospel of John.
