We are glad to join you in prayer for Sandra's upcoming exams. Before we begin, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including our academic pursuits. It is important to trust in Him and seek His will in all areas of our lives, including studies.
In the book of James, we are encouraged that "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB)
If Sandra has not yet put her trust in Jesus Christ, we encourage her to do so. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Sandra to You. We acknowledge that You have known her even before she was born (Jeremiah 1:5 Family) and that You have a purpose and a plan for her life.
Father, we ask that You would grant Sandra the wisdom and knowledge she needs to successfully complete her exams and achieve success. We know that success is not defined by the world's standards and we are not asking for grades that do not align with her performance. We ask for her to not cheat or act unethically in her exams. We pray you grant her to honesty and help her learn the material well in your will.
We know that this is important to her and we pray this does not cause her more fear than is reasonable.
Lord as Sandra is diligent, responsible, and hardworking in her studying, studying the right thing at the right time, Lord bless her with fair grades. We pray Sandra will improve her study habits if she has been unwise and continues to make these necessary changes while you bless her efforts to learn and the exam process.
We pray that Sandra will be a good student dedicating adequate time to healthy habits, eating well, and taking a break from technology, especially for the purpose of entertainment and frivolity. We do not want this to distract her, especially during exam time, Lord.
We do not want her to have overwhelming stress. We pray this while she lives her life balancing the important and necessary enjoyment of both rest and godly recreation. In all these things prayed for, allow her to depend on Your strength and not her own.
Father God, we ask that Sandra would come to know You more deeply through this experience. We pray that she would put her trust in You, calling on the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for Sandra that she may experience a Godly sorrow (sorrow according to God) a necessary and proper repentance from sin for salvation, she has not yet experienced; that this experience may be unto salvation not to be regretted. We know this cannot be taken back God and it is how you designed us to come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 7:10,WEB)
We ask this all in Jesus Christ's precious name, Amen.
May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard Sandra and your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
