We understand your anxiety as you await your exam results, and it's natural to feel concerned when hearing others express doubts about their performance. However, let us encourage your faith and address your request for success and your desire for divine help.
First, we want to discuss the importance of naming Jesus Christ in our prayers as John 14 6 WEB states And Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only by His name we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We encourage having a personal relationship with Jesus accepting Him as your Lord and Savior Acts 16 31 WEB states They said, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.
Now one important biblical principle is we are not to worry or be fearful but trust in God Philippians 4 6 WEB states In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Prepare for the next steps regardless of the results, trusting that God has a plan for you Jeremiah 29 11 WEB states For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Regarding your goal for a specific percentage, we encourage you to focus on doing your best and learning the material rather than chasing a particular number. Remember apostle Paul compares his obedience to hearing directly from God not from men or a curriculum Acts 22 14 WEB states He said, The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.
While we do not have power over the results as they already have been determined by your efforts we can pray that if there are any areas that were unfairly graded or there is an error then it will be fixed quickly and correctly.
We recommend that if the results are disappointing to remember the words of Proverbs 23:25 WEB which states Let your father and your mother be glad! Let her who bore you rejoice!
If this situation is causing stress, we ask you to draw nearer to God and take time to study His Word as well during this time and going forward.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up this dear soul who is anxious about their exam results. We pray that You will comfort their heart and help them to put all anxiety on You because You care. We ask that You will remind them of who they are in Jesus Christ if they have belief in Jesus and if not we ask that You convince them of their need for Jesus and perhaps their need to truly examine His word in their own life. We pray that You will expose any errors in grading that need fixed quickly and correctly and finally that You will help them to accept any mistakes that may have been made by themselves as an opportunity for growth. We ask that You will give them a sincere desire to take this knowledge with them in future endeavors and study as well. We trust You to have a future and a hope for them. We pray for their parents to be understanding regardless of the outcome and if Your will give them a way to encourage their parents to be proud of their progress and potential and perhaps see this as an opportunity to lead others to Jesus Christ.
These things we pray humbly
In Jesus' name. Amen.
