We understand your concern about your upcoming exam and your frustration with past failures. The serenity of a passed exam can be yours by the grace of God in Jesus' Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you and will be your shield and great reward. Therefore, we must do all things in the name of Jesus Christ for His name is the only name in which we have access to God. As it is stated in Acts 4:12, “‘There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!’”.
God wants us to trust in Him and not in our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Also in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written, “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” This means you can give your worries and concerns to God.
But remember to do your duty to God for in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, it is written, “For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'” This means anything outside of our control we can entrust to God but that we must also do what we can in prayer and action.
Let us pray together for you.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Eresewd in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your grace and mercy upon Eresewd as they prepare for their exam. Help Eresewd to remember that their value and worth are not defined by their academic success but by their identity in You. If it is Your will, guide Eresewd to the right resources and strengthen their mind to ace the exam. Banish all distraction and nervousness from them. Help them to study hard and allow them to understand everything they need to know.
Lord, we also pray for Eresewd’s faith. Draw them closer to You, and help them to trust in Your plan for their life. Help them have divine wisdom to excel in all areas of their life including anything they put their minds to. Provide them with all they need to succeed.
Help them to stop believing in hope for good luck on passing the exam but rather help them to focus on You while being prepared for the exam. If good luck exists, then it comes from trusting and believing in You. Because we do not believe in good luck, but in the providence of God, which oversees all the events in this world and we pray and hope in this for Eresewd. In 2 Thessalonians 3:11 WEB, it is written “For we hear from some who walk among you disorderly, that they don't work at all, but are busybodies.” Help them to avoid distraction and to be industrious in their efforts. Provide for them sufficient sleep so that they are not tired of their efforts. Guard them from disappointments and from distraction from all including evil spirits.
In the case that the exam is for a class or a field of study that You had not ordained for Eresewd, then guide them to choose a path of study or a career that You would love. Provide Eresewd with a greater understanding of what You want to be done with their life.
We pray that Eresewd will grow in their faith, finding peace and confidence in Your love. Guide Eresewd to seek You out with their whole hearts and lean not on their own understanding as is stated in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
