We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this difficult time. It's understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed by grief and struggling to focus on your upcoming exam. We are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." It is reassuring because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. We want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you. First Peter 5:7 WEB says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Regarding your exam, we pray that God will grant you the peace, strength, and clarity you need to succeed. Colossians 3:23 WEB reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Remember that your effort and dedication are offerings to the Lord, and he will honor your commitment.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, we ask for your comfort and peace to envelop them as they grieve the loss of their dad. Help them to feel your presence and the love of their father, reminding them of the hope they have in Jesus Christ.
Father, we also ask for your grace and favor as they prepare for and take their exam. Grant them clarity of mind, strength, and the ability to focus despite their grief. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, trusting in your care and provision.
In Jesus' name, we pray for success in their exam and for your will to be done in their life. We rebuke the spirit of grief from the enemy and ask that it be turned to comfort. Amen.
As you navigate this challenging time, remember that God is with you and that he will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust in his goodness and faithfulness. We encourage you to find solace in his word and in community with fellow believers.
Lastly, we gently remind you that if you have not already, it is essential to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through him that we have access to God and can be saved. If you have any questions or need further guidance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to support you in your journey.
