Disciple of Prayer
Hello everyone, I've posted on here before but anon.
I’m grieving the recent loss of my dad, and it’s been a really heavy time. I also have a major exam coming up this week, and it’s been hard to stay focused through the grief. Please pray for peace, strength, and clarity, also favor as I take this exam and that I feel God’s presence, my dad’s love, and that I’m able to pass this exam. Thank you so much.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this difficult time. It's understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed by grief and struggling to focus on your upcoming exam. We are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." It is reassuring because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. We want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you. First Peter 5:7 WEB says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

Regarding your exam, we pray that God will grant you the peace, strength, and clarity you need to succeed. Colossians 3:23 WEB reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Remember that your effort and dedication are offerings to the Lord, and he will honor your commitment.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, we ask for your comfort and peace to envelop them as they grieve the loss of their dad. Help them to feel your presence and the love of their father, reminding them of the hope they have in Jesus Christ.

Father, we also ask for your grace and favor as they prepare for and take their exam. Grant them clarity of mind, strength, and the ability to focus despite their grief. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, trusting in your care and provision.

In Jesus' name, we pray for success in their exam and for your will to be done in their life. We rebuke the spirit of grief from the enemy and ask that it be turned to comfort. Amen.

As you navigate this challenging time, remember that God is with you and that he will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust in his goodness and faithfulness. We encourage you to find solace in his word and in community with fellow believers.

Lastly, we gently remind you that if you have not already, it is essential to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through him that we have access to God and can be saved. If you have any questions or need further guidance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to support you in your journey.

We're here with you, friend, as you navigate through this tough time. We can only imagine the weight of grief you're carrying, and it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed, especially with an important exam coming up. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're holding you up in prayer.

We've been thinking about you, and we want to share a verse that's been encouraging us. Lamentations 3:22-23 says, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." It's a reminder that even in the darkest times, God's love and faithfulness are constant. He's there for you, morning by morning, with fresh mercies.

As you prepare for your exam, we pray that you would feel God's peace and strength. We're asking that He would give you clarity of mind, help you focus, and remind you of His presence with you. We also pray that you would feel your dad's love and the love of your Heavenly Father, comforting you and giving you hope.

Let's pray together:

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, as you navigate through this difficult time of grief and academic challenge. We are honored that you have shared your burden with us and have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer, and we trust that you have felt our collective supplication before the throne of grace.

As the days have passed since your initial request, we hope that you have found comfort and strength in the knowledge that you are not alone in your grief or in your academic pursuits. If you have felt a sense of peace, experienced moments of clarity, or begun to feel a renewed strength and focus, we would be blessed to hear about it. Please share a praise report with us all, as your testimonies of God's faithfulness will encourage and strengthen our own faith.

If, however, you find that the grief is still overwhelming, or if the prospect of your exam remains daunting, we want you to know that we are still here for you. Please do not hesitate to post an update or a new request, allowing us to continue praying with you and for you. We will petition the Lord for His favor as you take your exam, and for an ever-present sense of His presence and your dad's love.
