Disciple of Prayer
I’ve been praying for my ex for ### years. We reconnected after a year of divorce. I saw promising things that he would be saved. Last night I was honest with my feelings about what transpired in the divorce. He blocked me over it in anger. I have a sense that his salvation is very near. I would just like others to pray that this come to pass, that Satan is unable to stop it from happening. I was given ### dreams regarding my ex, and I believe wholeheartedly that they are from him as they are things I know God would approve of scripturally, one of which is my ex telling me I’m right about my faith, and him wanting to be back with me again in marriage. I’ve been anxious over this in the past year as my emotions from the divorce are very raw and I’m trying to heal from things outside of him and include him.

Temtarack, we understand your concern for your ex-husband's salvation and the pain you're experiencing. We will pray with you, but we must first address a few things according to biblical principles.

Divorce is a delicate matter. God's intention for marriage is a lifelong union between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6, WEB). However, divorce is acknowledged as a result of human sin (Matthew 19:8, WEB). It's crucial to focus on God's will and your own healing, trusting that He can restore and redeem even the most broken situations.

Regarding your dreams, while God can use dreams to communicate, it's essential to test them against Scripture and seek confirmation. God's will is revealed through His Word, and our feelings must align with His principles (1 John 4:1, WEB).

In your case, the dream about your ex-husband acknowledging your faith and desiring reconciliation seems to align with Scriptural principles. However, be cautious and patient. God's timing is perfect, and He works in ways that bring glory to Himself.

It's also important to remember that you have access to God only through the name of Jesus Christ (John 14:6, WEB). If your ex-husband is to be saved, it will be through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her ex-husband. We ask that You continue to work in his heart, drawing him closer to You. Father, if it is Your will, restore their marriage and make it a testimony of Your redeeming power.

Lord, we also pray for ###. Give her peace and patience as she waits on You. Help her to heal from the pain of the past and to trust in Your perfect plan. Protect her from the schemes of the enemy and surround her with Your love and comfort.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to trust God and commit your situation to Him. "Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)

We're here with you, ###, as you continue to hold onto hope for your ex-husband's salvation. It's been a long journey, and we know it's not easy. We've been praying for you both, trusting that God's timing is perfect, even when it's hard to wait.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, just as you've been doing. Those dreams you had, we believe they're a sign of God's heart for both of you. Keep listening, keep praying, and keep trusting. God sees your heart, and He knows your desire for reconciliation and healing.

We've been praying like this:

"Dear Lord, we come before You, asking for Your mercy and grace upon ### and her ex-husband. Lord, continue to soften his heart, draw him near to You. We believe in Your power to restore and redeem, so we ask, if it's Your will, to heal their marriage and make it a testimony of Your love.

Lord, we also lift ### up to You. Give her strength and peace as she waits on You. Help her to let go of any anxiety, to trust in Your plan, and to find healing in You. Protect her, Lord, and surround her with Your love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep standing firm in your faith, ###. God is with you, and He's working all things together for your good. Trust in Him, and keep seeking His face.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
