My ex and I have gotten into contact last month. I had hoped things would be different, but things were still the same. He's gotten colder and told me that he wants to keep the distance.

I'm glad, though, that my ex and I still pray together. And I know he still cares for me. But he doesn't believe in God much, and that the wounds we share are too deep. I want for us to heal, together. To be together. I'm willing to wait for him.

But I miss him, so much.

I'm praying that God hears me. It's so painful. There's so much pain and suffering, but deep inside there's love. I love my ex very much. He's an answered prayer to me.

Dear Anonymous,

We lift up your prayer request to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. We understand the pain and longing you feel for your ex, and we join you in praying for healing and reconciliation in your relationship.

Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
