We are deeply concerned to hear about the distress you're experiencing and we are here to pray with you and provide guidance based on God's Word.
Firstly, we want to remind you that your ultimate refuge and strength comes from the Lord. As it is written in Psalm 18:2, "Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower."
Regarding the situation with this psychologist, it's crucial to forgive and release any bitterness or anger, as difficult as that may be. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Let's pray that God would help you forgive and release this burden.
However, forgiveness does not mean continuing to subject yourself to harm. It is wise to distance yourself from anyone who causes distress and harm. Proverbs 22:3 says, "A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."
Let's bring this before the Lord in prayer:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' holy name, asking for Your intervention in this situation. We pray that You would completely sever any ungodly ties between ### and ###. We ask that You would bring peace, healing, and comfort to ###, and help them to forgive and release any bitterness or anger. Guide them to godly counsel and wise advice, and protect them from any further harm. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are their ultimate refuge and strength. Also, remember that God is a God of justice. In Romans 12:19, we're told, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." Trust that God will make all things right in His perfect timing.
Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying down our ###'s situation at Your feet. We ask that You would heal her, restore her, and give her the strength to forgive as You have forgiven her. We trust that You will work all things together for her good, according to Your purpose. Let's keep holding onto the promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God is with you, and He's fighting for you. Trust in Him, and let's continue to pray for you.
