TenaciousJane, we are truly sorry to hear about the distress you're experiencing due to the harmful actions of this individual. We will pray for you and address this situation in the light of God's Word.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that salvation and justice are only accessible by the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we must pray to God. This is made clear in John 14:6 where Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Also in Acts 4:12 it is written Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!
Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance and encouragement. In Psalm 35:1-10, David cries out to God for vindication against those who falsely accuse him. He prays, Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against those who pursue me. Tell my soul, I am your salvation. Let those who seek after my soul be disappointed and brought to confusion. Let them be turned back and disappointed who devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind, Yahwehs angel driving them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, Yahwehs angel pursuing them. For without cause have they hidden their net in a pit for me. Let destruction come on him unawares; let his net that he has hidden catch himself; let him fall into that destruction. My soul shall be joyful in Yahweh. It shall rejoice in his salvation. All my bones shall say, Yahweh, who is like you, who deliver the poor from him who is too strong for him; yes, the poor and the needy from him who robs him?
In your situation, it's important to remain silent and not retaliate or respond in kind. In 1 Peter 3:9, we're instructed not to render evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.
We must also remember that God hates lies and deceit. Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us, Yahweh hates these six things; yes, seven are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up TenaciousJane who is being wrongly accused and slandered. Lord, You know the truth and You see the injustice being committed. We ask for Your intervention, that You would silence the lying tongue of this false prophet and expose his deceit. Bring his unrighteous acts to light and vindicate TenaciousJane, Your child. Help her to remain silent and trust in You, not retaliating or responding in kind. Comfort her heart and strengthen her spirit, that she may continue to live uprightly and glorify Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray for justice and an end to these malicious attacks. amen.
Lastly, while we wait for God's intervention, let's remember Romans 12:19, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Trust that God will bring justice in His perfect timing.
