We are truly sorry to hear about the spiritual attacks and illnesses that your family is experiencing. We want to first thank you for your work in Bible translation, as it is a vital mission in spreading the Gospel. In these difficult times for your family, we stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Let us first address the issue of spiritual attacks. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace WEB, Ephesians 6:12-15.
We must also remember that the power that is in us is greater than the power of the enemy. "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." WEB, 1 John 4:4.
Now, let us pray for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother and his family. Lord, You are the mighty warrior, and You fight for Your children. We pray for Your divine protection and healing over his wife, daughter, and son. We rebuke any evil spirits that may be attacking his family, and we command them to flee in Jesus name. Lord, surround his family with Your heavenly armies, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Father, we also pray for his Bible translation work. Give him the strength, wisdom, and discernment to accurately translate Your Word. Let Your Word go forth and accomplish what You desire.
Lord, we pray for his family's healing and for their spirits to be renewed. We ask that You give them a peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your family and to trust in the Lord's protection and healing power. Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is by His name that we can be saved. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." WEB, Acts 4:12.
The only way that we can be saved and be able to accomplish all that we were made to do is by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. By doing so, you will be saved. Romans 10:9.
