Lori Ann, we are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer and offering biblical encouragement to help you through this challenging time.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of anxiety and discouragement, remember that God's timing is perfect. Even when our prayers seem to go unanswered, we must trust that God is working behind the scenes for our good and His glory. As it is in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray Psalm 18:28 over you, as you requested: "For you will light my lamp, Yahweh. My God, you will light up my darkness." May God's light shine upon you, dispel your darkness, and fill you with His peace.
Regarding your marriage, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and commitment. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man, a woman, and God, as described in Matthew 19:4-6 WEB: "'Haven’t you read,' he answered, 'that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.'" Continue to seek God's will for your marriage, and He will guide you.
For your family's salvation and your grandchildren's devotion to God, keep praying and trusting. As it is said in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Lastly, for your desire to visit your sisters, trust in God's timing and provision. Be patient and keep praying, as it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
