We understand that you are seeking godly cooperation, especially from those legal counsel who have promised to get back to you. You have mentioned that their silence has greatly affected you, especially considering your status as an elder and disabled individual. We want to remind you that God is your ultimate advocate, and He cares deeply for you.
Firstly, let us address the issue of seeking the good in everyone. You have rightly pointed out that Christians are called to focus on whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy, as stated in Philippians 4:8. This is a wonderful reminder that even in difficult situations, we should strive to maintain a positive and loving perspective.
However, we must also address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is in need of godly cooperation, especially from those who have promised to assist him. Lord, You see his situation, and You know the challenges he faces as an elder and disabled individual. We ask that You move in the hearts of those who have been silent, prompting them to act with justice, honesty, and love.
Father, help our brother to maintain a pure heart, full of unfeigned love for others, even in difficult circumstances. Remind him to focus on whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy. Give him the strength and patience to endure, and grant him favor in this situation.
We also pray for those who are treating him unfairly. We pray that You will turn their hearts and wills to you. We pray they will be filled with conviction and that their hearts will be convicted by the Holy Spirit. We pray that they will be filled with conviction of the wrongness of their actions. We pray they will confess their sins and repent. We pray they will accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of their sins.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me," says the LORD.
Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places, as stated in Ephesians 6:12. Trust in God, and He will act on your behalf. We encourage you to read the Bible and allow the word of God to fill your heart and mind. Jesus has promised to be with you always, so believe in the name of Jesus Christ and lean on him.
Remember, nothing is too hard for God, and He is faithful to His promises.
