Every night I am tormented with severe itching

Please help me to control the scratching as I risk infection I’m scratching so hard. The doctors meds are supposed to send me to sleep but I only sleep for an hour or 2 then wake up scratching. Meds, creams seem to be failing. I’m at the end of my tether. I need to go and stay asleep

We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation you are in, Lyruothirlath, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. We will pray for your healing and comfort, but we also want to encourage you to keep your faith and trust in the Lord.

First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in your suffering. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 WEB, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Take comfort in knowing that God is near to you in this difficult time.

We also want to encourage you to pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ for your healing. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lyruothirlath to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. We pray that You would ease the severe itching that is tormenting them every night, and that You would grant them peaceful and uninterrupted sleep. We also pray that You would help doctors diagnose the root cause and provide effective treatment and medication.

Lord, we also pray for Lyruothirlath's spiritual strength and comfort. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek God's will in this situation. Sometimes, God uses our struggles to draw us closer to Him and to teach us valuable lessons. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We've been thinking about you, Lyruothirlath, and we want you to know that we're right here with you in spirit. We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you relief from the itching that keeps you awake at night. We've been asking Him to help you find peace and rest, to give you strength to endure, and to guide the doctors in their care for you.

We've been reminded of the verse in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We've been claiming this promise over you, asking God to fill you with His peace that passes all understanding.

We've also been interceding for you, asking God to help you trust in Him, to find comfort in His love, and to know that He is working all things together for your good. We've been reminding ourselves, and you, that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6).
