Dear Defria, we are lifting up your family to the Lord in prayer, seeking His divine intervention for a healthier lifestyle for your brother and mother. We pray that God will grant them the strength and discipline needed to make wise choices regarding their health. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "What? Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

However, we must address the reference to your daughters' and sons' step-daddy's nickname as "princess." This is concerning as it may imply a lack of biblical understanding of gender roles and the sanctity of marriage. We encourage you to pray for God's will in this situation and for His guidance in aligning your family with biblical principles. As Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB) teaches us, marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and the church.

Moreover, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is His name that carries power and authority.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
