Faith comes by getting in His presence, How do we do that you may ask? Well since God is omnipresent it shouldn't be that hard right? And the answer to that is Yes it shouldn't be that hard, but we make it hard. There is one thing that God told me when I was trying so hard to seek Him, hear Him and even feel Him any one of those I would have enjoyed at that moment of pain. I heard the whisper in my head of the Holy Spirit when I was asking God how do I feel you, how do I see you, how do I actually hear your voice out loud? The response was "Its hard, but yet its easy." . Lets explore this shall we? " But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him, if you search after him with all your heart and all your soul" Deuteronomy 4:29. This verse to me explains it perfectly "Its hard, but yet its easy" Lets start with the easy part "You will Seek the Lord Your God and you will find Him" Well praise God it says there if we seek Him we will find Him now that is awesome, sounds easy to me. So you may ask where is the hard part? The sad thing is, is there shouldn't be a hard part at all, but because of flesh there is. Lets take the 2nd part of this and dissect it. "If you search after Him with all your heart and all your soul". ALL YOUR HEART AND SOUL this is why it is so hard for us, we are distracted with life and our circumstances. Wondering when will my wife come back, will she come back, does she even think about me, what is she doing right now the list goes on. Now what is the answer to this how can me seek Him with all of our heart and soul, get ready because here is another hard thing. Lets go to another verse to answer this shall we? Well your reading so I am sorry you don't have much of a choice
. Ok so lets go to Romans 5:3 "More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance". I know some of you are saying: well I don't want endurance so why should I rejoice in suffering? Ok fair enough, lets go to another verse then shall we? Romans 5:4 "and endurance produces character, and character produces hope". Ok now we are getting there that last one said hope and I don't know about you but I like hope. Lets go on Romans 5:5 "and Hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us". Now I want you to read all of those verses together and really think about this. We are trying to seek God who is already here and is seeking us (through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us), we cant seek God when we are distracted by worldly problems, but yet we seek God to get away from the worldly problems. Its hard, but yet its easy. If we just realize that these problems are temporary our lives are temporary our time is temporary every thing we see is temporary then we can let go of our problems and really seek the one constant, real, loving eternity that will never pass or hurt us God. So how do we seek God? With ALL of our heart and soul. How do we do that? We rejoice in our suffering. Why should we do that? because it gives us hope and breaks our shame. And why do we want hope and no shame? Because we want to feel God's love. And why do we want to feel God's love? Well that's the easiest part of all of this to answer. We want to feel God's love because I don't know about you I am tired of being heart broken I am tired of this world crushing me. I am going to listen to God and get in His presence, I am going have faith and he is going to give me faith because I am rejoicing not because of what I am going threw but because he loves me enough to send his Holy Spirit to and for me and all of us even before we where born. So yes it is Hard to let go of the only thing we know in the world, pain, suffering, rejection and heartache but yet it is so easy to let go of the things that hurt us in this world and once we truly let go and just be joyful then we can see that we where seeking for Him so hard when He was right there all along.
