EVANGELICALS, WHERE ARE YOU?

Isaiah 48: 18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.​

There is no Biblical justification for the recent violent act of betrayal on this nation's capitol. Their's was not a plea for peace and justice on behalf of the least of these: but rather an unjust "trial by combat;" VENGEANCE, against their own neighbors and leaders amid ungodly growls of: "STOP THE STEAL"

1 Corinthians 6: 7) The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? 8) Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters.​

Shame on those who have been complacent and complicit in allowing a "mere man" to weaken this nation with his disgusting, seditious assault on her democracy; jeopardizing the lives of Americans, both at home and abroad. For God says to those rebellious sons of treachery . . .

Isaiah 33:1 Woe to you, destroyer, you who have not been destroyed! Woe to you, betrayer, you who have not been betrayed! When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed; when you stop betraying, you will be betrayed.​

Thus, scripture repeats itself, for there is nothing new under the sun. Did not this nation's betrayer, in extending no mercy, pompously call for a hit on the brethren of his own household, The Vice President? Thereby bringing harm, even unto death, to his neighbors? Proverbs 24: 12 If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?

Nevertheless, having been carried on the wings of every hateful bird, the shameful level to which the current administration has descended, does not have to be the fate of the entire nation. If you are indeed the Evangelical disciples of God, that you claim to be, instruct the people to "sit down;" so that they may be fed with the Word of LOVE and TRUTH, wherein God hath commanded us to walk. As in all things - the choice is yours.

Choose this day whom you will serve.​

Put a stop to this irreverence, before God puts a stop to this nation, as it is written, for a time.

My hope and prayer before the Lord is that all evangelicals are fasting and praying before the Lord so peace, joy and happiness will come to America. America is a Christian country. It was founded by God fearing people and they gave America to God to be a blessing to all the peoples of the world.

Leviticus 26:1: “You shall not make idols for yourselves.”

1 Corinthians 8:4b: “There is no God but one.”

Idolatry has taken precedence over theology. There are some Evangelicals who have made their political party their God. And some Evangelicals are delusional or have become delusional when it comes to Trump. Trump has become their idol. And their idolatry of Trump has taken preeminence in their lives and homes over truth, love, common sense, their relationships, and the only True and Living God. I've heard Christians and Christian leaders repeat and or justify Trump's lies and wrongdoing. I've heard Christians who said it is okay with them that Trump lies. But none of this is okay in God's eyesight. Their feelings about Trump is taking prominence over the most important relationship they will ever have, their relationship with God. God is exposing the church. And Friendships have been destroyed, families have been divided, and it is dividing the Body of Christ.

Trump did what many false religious leaders do. He cut people off from the truth, the truth about him. He told his followers don't listen to the news because it was “Fake News”. Then Trump fed them his "Fake News" and lies. They believed Trump and became disseminators of lies and disinformation. That is how some cults get started.


My suggestion to all Christians: Desire and work on having an ever-growing intimate relationship with God. Draw close to God and God will draw close to you (James 4:8). How do you draw close to God? Get to know God by spending time with Him in reading, studying, and meditating upon God’s Word. Live in God's Word and let God’s Word live in You. Be a doer of God’s Word and not a hearer or reader only. Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, body, and strength. And when you really know God, you will love Him.

Spend time with God daily in prayer. Pray about everything. Pray for the gift of discernment. Seek God’s face. Learn God’s voice. Keep your focus on God. Be faithful to God. If someone tells you something that does not line up with the Word of God, denounce it. God can’t lie and God will never go against His Word. Ask God to show you yourself, your heart, and allow God to work on you. Ask God to show you the hearts of the people you allow close to you. And be prepared to let some people go.

PS: And just because someone says that abortion is wrong doesn’t mean they are fit to be president. Thank You For Your Post. It is time for our Nation to heal.

Five people died this week because of the attack on the Capitol. Many people lost their jobs. Trump lost the election. Trump caused this because Trump lost. Trump, his son Donny, and Giuliani all instigated this. Trump especially instigated this. Trump “is responsible for the violence and unrest” that unfolded on the Capitol grounds on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Their blood is on his hands.

Even though we want to run away from our problems, even though it is heavy and difficult, even though we are not sure which way this virus will take us, or the political upheavel will guide us, we will trust the Lord. We will fast and pray daily for better days to come and to find relief in time. Jesus want us all healed, helped and blessed. He loves us with an everlasting love.

All evangelicals should be on their knees praying and fasting before the Lord. Remember what He said. Pray that you enter not into temptation. Jesus loves you and cares for you. He will hear us and answer our prayers.
