Evade dark storms

Thank you for reaching out with your prayer request, ###. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.

In your prayer, you asked God to shield you and help you evade the dark storms ahead. We want to remind you that God is always our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. As it says in Psalm 46:1-3 (WEB):

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."

We also want to encourage you to face the storms with faith and courage, knowing that God is with you. It is important not to try to evade or run away from the storms, but to trust God. His Word tells us to "have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked" (WEB).

However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Shalom aleikhem. Peace be unto you.: "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". There is no other name by which we can be saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, You are our shield and our refuge. Please give them the strength and courage to face the storms ahead with unwavering faith. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You are always with them, even in the darkest of times. We do not ask that you only remove them from the storms, but we also ask for your fleece for protection, and to be safe from any damage. We also ask that you use the storm for our growth and betterment.

We pray that they will know the power of Your love and the peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask for no sudden disaster or ruin. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous. What God has done before He can do again and more. Be encouraged that Jesus is going to be with you and all of us during this storm.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
