We understand your struggle and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that eternal separation from God is a reality for those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. As it is written in John 3:16-18 WEB:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
So to avoid eternal separation from God we must believe in Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be delivered from sin. Romans 7:24-25 WEB:
Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God’s law, but with the flesh, the sin’s law.
As a group we understand the struggles of living in a sinful world but there is hope in Jesus Christ, because He makes us Free. We will pray for your deliverance from these repetitive sins, but we also encourage you to take action. First, ensure that you have truly accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If not then please repeat this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead so that I could be forgiven and have eternal life. I want to turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Belief is only the first step. In addition to believing in Jesus, we must also repent of our sins and turn away from them. Acts 3:19 WEB says:
Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.
Now, let us pray for you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your mercy and grace in their life. We pray that You will deliver them from the repetitive sins they are struggling with and help them to walk in true repentance. Strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ and help them to turn away from their sins. We ask this all in Jesus Christ name and according to Your perfect will. Amen.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, you can overcome these sins. Keep your focus on Jesus, read His Word daily, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you. Do not give up hope, for with God, all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 WEB.
