We understand your heartache, Drefelis, and we stand with you in prayer for your daughter's return and reconciliation. Let us align our prayers with God's Word and trust in His power to transform hearts.
The Bible tells us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We recognize that the enemy may be at work, but we also know that God's love and power are greater.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Drefelis' daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You remove any veil that obscures her vision and any stronghold that the enemy has over her life. Break the chains that bind her, and help her to see clearly the love and support of her family. We pray that she will come to her senses, soften her heart, and return to her family, just like the prodigal son did (John 6:37, WEB). We claim Your promise that 'if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness' (1 John 1:9, WEB). Lord, we trust in Your power to bring reconciliation and healing to this family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Drefelis, to remain steadfast in your love and patience, just as the father in the parable of the prodigal son did. Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres" (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, WEB). Trust that God is working in your daughter's life, even when you cannot see it.
We also gently remind you that while we fervently pray for your daughter's return, we must also respect her free will and God's timing. Continue to demonstrate unconditional love and be open to the work God wants to do in your own life during this time.
